Privacy Policy

Oprex Commercial Construction ("Oprex," "we," "us," or "our") is a commercial construction company based in Lubbock, Texas. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our internal Excel report processing application ("the Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using an OAuth provider (Microsoft or Google), we receive and store your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by the authentication provider. This information is used solely to identify your account within the Service.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous page views and performance metrics through Vercel Analytics. This data does not include personally identifiable information and is used to understand how the Service is used and to improve its performance.

Uploaded Files

Files you upload for report processing are handled entirely in-memory during the processing operation. Uploaded files are never written to disk, stored in a database, or retained after processing is complete.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Authentication and access control — to verify your identity and manage access to the Service.
  • Service improvement — to analyze usage patterns via anonymous analytics and improve the reliability and performance of the Service.
  • Report processing — to process uploaded Excel files and generate formatted output reports as requested.

3. Information Sharing

We share information only with the following third-party services that are necessary to operate the Service:

  • Microsoft and Google — OAuth authentication providers used to verify your identity during sign-in.
  • Vercel — hosts the application and provides privacy-focused analytics.
  • Neon — provides the PostgreSQL database used to store account data.
  • Anthropic — when enabled, provides optional AI-assisted invoice matching via the Claude API. Invoice data is sent only during processing and is not retained by Anthropic beyond the API request.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

4. Data Retention

Account data (name, email, and profile photo) is retained for as long as your account remains active. Uploaded files are processed in-memory and are not retained after processing is complete. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Vercel's data retention policy.

5. Cookies & Tracking

  • Session cookies — we use session cookies managed by NextAuth with a JWT strategy to keep you signed in.
  • Vercel Analytics — collects anonymous, privacy-focused metrics. It does not use cookies that track personally identifiable information.
  • No third-party ad trackers — we do not use any advertising trackers or third-party tracking pixels.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

  • All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
  • Authentication is handled through secure OAuth providers (Microsoft and Google).
  • Uploaded files are processed in-memory and are never stored on disk or in a database.
  • Access to account data and infrastructure is limited to authorized personnel only.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the account data we hold about you.
  • Request corrections to inaccurate account information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will communicate those changes through the Service or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
